Singapore

Singapore  officially the Republic of Singapore, is an island country off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, 137 kilometres (85 mi) north of theequator, in Southeast Asia. It is separated from Malaysia by the Straits of Johor to its north, and from Indonesia's Riau Islands by the Singapore Strait to its south. Singapore is the world's fourth leading financial centre and a cosmopolitan world city, playing a key role in international trade and finance. The port of Singapore is one of the five busiest ports in the world.
Singapore has a long history of immigration. It has a diverse population of close to 5 million people made up of ChineseMalaysIndiansAsians of various descents, andCaucasians. 42% of the population in Singapore are foreigners who work and study there. Foreign workers make up 50% of the service sector. The country is the second most densely populated in the world after Monaco. A.T. Kearney named Singapore the most globalised country in the world in 2006 in its Globalization Index.
Before independence in 1965, Singapore was a vibrant trading port with a GDP per capita of $511, the third highest in East Asia then. After independence, foreign direct investmentand a state-led drive for industrialisation based on plans by former Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Goh Keng Swee created a modern economy.
The Economist Intelligence Unit in its "Quality-Of-Life Index" ranks Singapore as having the best quality of life in Asia and eleventh overall in the world.] Singapore possesses the world's ninth largest foreign reserves. The country also maintains armed forces that are technologically advanced and well-equipped.
After a contraction of -6.8% in the 4th quarter of 2009, Singapore claimed the title of fastest-growing economy in the world, with GDP growth of 17.9% in the first half of 2010

Oriflame

Oriflame Cosmetics S.A. (Luxembourg) is a cosmetics group, founded in 1967 in Sweden by the brothers Jonas af Jochnick and Robert af Jochnick. The company sells skin care, cosmetic products and other related products through an independent sales force of over 3 million people

Brief history

Oriflame was founded in 1967 by brothers Jonas and Robert af Jochnick, and their then partner, Bengt Hellsten in Stockholm. The brand got its name from the royal banner of medieval France which was traditionally unfurled only on the battlefield and accompanied by the war cry Montjoie Saint Denis. Oriflame then expanded and had its first UK Consultant in 1970. Following this Oriflame Ireland opened as a licensee in 1972. Oriflame published their catalogues in the UK for the first time in 1988. The company then expanded and in 2006 Oriflame UK and Ireland became part of the Premier Direct Group  but was subsequently sold to independent owners, Eric McClenaghan and Kevin Kenny

Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana (Italian pronunciation: [ˈdoltʃe e ɡabˈbaːna]), is an Italian luxury fashion house.
The company was started by the Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in Milan, Italy. By 2005 their turnover was €750 million. Their clothing designs are usually black in color and geometric in shape.

Dolce & Gabbana has two central lines with a few key distinct differences:

 Dolce&Gabbana

Dolce&Gabbana (spelled without spaces, unlike the name of the company) specializes in luxury items influenced more by designers and is more formal and 'timeless', responding to long-term trends rather than seasonal changes[citation needed]. It also sells sunglasses and corrective eyewear, purses, and watches. In February 2010, it was announced that American singer Madonna would design a collection of sunglasses set to be released in May of that year. They also have a set of fragrances for men and women.

D&G

D&G is a slightly more casual line that follows an urban inspiration and attempts to set trends rather than follow them. It is the younger, more flamboyant line of the brand. Like Dolce&Gabbana, D&G sells watches as well as clothing, and have been voted the U.K's best luxury brand. In 2005–2006, a limited line of 1000 golden D&G Motorola RAZR V3i mobile phones was distributed by D&G boutiques and major Motorola retailers. In July 2009 D&G signed a lucrative deal with singer Alexandra Burke which will see her model their fashion lines in her music videos and in promotions.

Only one dress out of the 26 Victoria Beckham showed today featured a corset. That's groundbreaking news for a glamour puss who looks so pulled together in paparazzi snapshots you'd swear she wears a waist cincher to the gym. But as Beckham said while narrating the collection, her own style has loosened up quite a bit, and it showed in the clothes. She opened with a draped parachute silk dress in ultraviolet knotted at the torso, and included a few more variations of the theme, including a striking gown in black with jet embroidery at the shoulder. Kudos for expanding the range, though the irony is a weightless fabric like parachute silk hides nothing; as easy as the new silhouettes are, they require a flawless body.

Hollywood is full of those, of course, but Beckham's fans—even those with last names like Diaz, Lopez, and Moore—will probably gravitate toward the curving seams of the hourglass dresses she's best known for. Hard not to like the way they reliably hold everything in place. Among the best examples today: a shoulder-baring iridescent jacquard with ribbon straps and a Cadillac pink double crepe with an asymmetric neckline and a contrasting zipper in back. At the designer's request, Brian Atwood made the show's rose gold platform pumps to match her new Rolex. As for the new Victoria Beckham bags, they featured luxe materials and classically ladylike shapes, as befits a lady who knows her way around a Birkin.

Mercedes-Benz (German pronunciation:  is a German manufacturer of automobiles, buses, coaches, and trucks. ADIDAS

Спустя лишь 12 часов после того, как эти слухи просочились в интернет, нам стало известно официально - SK не смогли продлить контракты со своим спонсором Adidas на 2010 год.
Разгар кризиса - не лучший момент для того, чтобы дарить спортивные штанишки пацанам, которые проводят свою жизнь сидя перед монитором, решили менеджеры Adidas и извечные три полоски исчезнут с формы Schroet Kommando в этом году. Хотя, главное чтобы самые страшные для любого парня две полоски не стали сюрпризом для какого-нибудь игрока SK, а уж потерю Adidas они как-нибудь переживут.

Напомню, это уже третья крупная потеря спонсоров за последние 12 месяцев у SK: сначала от помощи киберспортивному гиганту отказались CM Storm и AMD, а теперь и Adidas умывает руки. Поддерживать на плаву раздавшуюся организацию будут лишь Acer и SteelSeries.
Учитывая уход из Schroett Kommando Андреаса "bds" Торстенссона, который долгое время решал всевозможные вопросы со спонсорами, Александру "TheSlash" Мюллеру придется самому расхлебывать эту ситуацию и не позволить SK уйти в пучину.

MTV's Drama Gets Young & Reckless with Sole Collector


While doing a little channel surfing over the last four years, you've probably come across MTV's hit show Fantasy Factory. The show stars professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek, and gives the viewer a little insight into his humorous day-to-day dealings with friends and family. One of those family members is cousin Chris "Drama" Pfaff. Drama is typically the victim of Rob's practical jokes and quirky ideas such as swimming with sharks, jumping out of buildings and driving rally cars. Drama's Fantasy Factory escapades have made him one of the biggest reality stars on MTV. His name also rings out on the music scene, where he's had success as an up-and-coming producer.
When Drama isn't doing his thing on MTV or cranking out beats in the studio, he's busy being a fashion entrepreneur. The 24-year old officially launched his clothing line Young & Reckless last year. Inspired by street fashion, Drama chose the name Young & Reckless because he wanted something that would express a lifestyle and culture that he himself is familiar with. An Akron, Ohio native, he also explained that he wanted to give kids in smaller cities an opportunity to own name brand streetwear that they typically can't find at their local retailers. Current offerings from Young & Reckless include t-shirts and hoodies for men and women, as well as a variety of hats. Also on the way are new accessories such as sunglasses. The upstart brand has been rocked by stars such as 50 Cent, Kevin Durant, Zac Efron, Chad Ochocinco, Danny Way and many more.
Another thing you probably didn't know about Drama is that he's a certified sneakerhead. He's a fan of everything from skate shoes to Air Jordans to runners. His go-to shoe at the moment? Nike's 3.0 Free runner, which he says he nearly wears on a daily basis. The passion Drama has for sneakers is also something he works into his Young & Reckless line. While the designs aren't directly attached to any one shoe, he does keep popular sneaker colorways in the back of his mind during the creative process. We were able to catch up with Drama to talk about Young & Reckless and get a few of this thoughts regarding sneakers.
Sole Collector: When you are designing your t-shirt colorways, what shoes do you keep in mind?

Drama: I can't really say that there is any one type of shoe that I keep in mind. If anything, I’d have to say Jordans. But for the most, part I just reference a lot of the classic shoe and sports colorways to make sure that kids are able to match them.
